The vertical tumbling action of the patented Tumbleweed 60 Gallon Compost Tumbler - Green creates an aerobic action that offers a quick and odorless form of composting. Designed with a stainless steel rod running through the middle, it also has sturdy galvanized tubular steel legs that won't rust as they provide a sturdy frame for the composter. Components of the optional Composting Starter Kit

Compost Thermometer
The compost thermometer is 20 inches long and is made of stainless steel with a plastic, no-fog lens. The dial tells you if your compost is doing poorly by indicating whether the temperature is too hot or just right.

Countertop Pail
The countertop pail goes in the kitchen, garage, or wherever you need it to easily add your scraps to take to your compost bin. A carbon filter is included along with a handle. The pail is made of high-density polyethylene and holds 9.6 quarts and measures 8.5L x 9W x 11H inches. This handy pail reduces the number of trips you need to take to the compost bin each week.

Bio Bags
This kit includes one box of 25 bio bags to line the inside of the counterop pail. These biodegradable bags are made with natural materials, which means they'll break down in your composter. Simply fill the bag with kitchen scraps or yard waste and toss it into your compost bin. The bags are 3 gallon in size and take 2 to 6 weeks to break down.

Compost Starter
Compost starter contains specific bacterial and fungal cultures to help speed up the process of composting your newly added material. This single bottle will cover 180 gallons of material. Just mix 1 ounce with a gallon of water and pour it over your compost. The water will spread the natural bio activator equally over the material.
